The Eldorado Presents Special Menus for Thanksgiving
RENO, Nev. (November 4, 2013) – The Eldorado Hotel Casino invites guests to spend this Thanksgiving holiday relaxed with family…no shopping, no cooking and especially no cleaning! Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two or a joyous family affair, from traditional dishes to dinners that put a new spin on old favorites, the Eldorado has it with distinctive menus presented by four of the Eldorado’s award-winning restaurants.
For a casual celebration, The Buffet prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat feast where traditionalists and gourmands will find what they’re craving. The carving station will feature classics like New York strip steak, maple glazed ham and roasted rosemary leg of lamb plus deep fried turkey with Southern trimmings including smokey black eyed peas and macaroni and cheese with cracklings. Guests will find favorites like peel and eat shrimp and chilled crab legs plus tasty entrees like turkey pot pies, broiled sirloin steaks with brandy peppercorn sauce, grilled blackened salmon with citrus fruit salsa, orange-rosemary glazed rotisserie game hens, butternut squash ravioli with sage butter and the famed mushroom ravioli with porcini cream sauce. Guests will also find traditional Thanksgiving dinner trimmings like buttermilk whipped potatoes, oven baked candied yams with marshmallows and pecans and corn bread stuffing with bacon and sage. Dessert rounds out the meal with assorted pastries, cakes and pies including pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, apple-pear-cranberry crisp, chocolate cream pie and bread pudding with rum sauce. Available Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 a.m. for $26.99 for adults, $21.99 for Club Eldorado Gold members and above and $12.99 for children age 2-11 at The Buffet.
An unforgettable experience awaits at Roxy, where in addition to the regular menu, a special three-course Thanksgiving dinner will be served beginning with a choice of either a fall harvest salad with baby arugula, caramelized squash, candied pecans and cambozola cheese with a pomegranate vinaigrette or squash and pumpkin ravioli with toasted hazelnuts, shaved parmesan and brown sage butter. The second course is a roasted turkey roulade with porcini mushroom, chestnut-sausage stuffing, apple cider pan gravy, Duchess sweet potato-mallow brûlée and English cheddar corn soufflé. Pumpkin pie crème brûlée with Bourbon whipped cream and peach praline tops off the meal, all for $29.95 per person. Dinner is available from 4 to 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
The Prime Rib Grill chefs have created a delicious Thanksgiving menu for just $24.95 per person beginning at 4 p.m. The menu starts with deviled eggs spiked with Black Forest ham and a trip to the famous salad bar followed by slow roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, orange-glazed carrots and served with a platter of stuffing, yams and cranberry sauce with pumpkin pie for dessert.
At Tivoli Gardens, three Thanksgiving Day specials will be offered from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The roast turkey dinner, for $14.00, is served with ambrosia salad, craisin stuffing, butternut potato hash and French green beans. The dinner also comes with a choice of pumpkin, apple or pecan pie. Guests can indulge in the Thanksgiving macaroni and cheese made with roast turkey, peas and carrots in a white cheddar cheese sauce, baked with a crispy stuffing topping for $11.00. Also for $11.00 is “The Day After” turkey sandwich with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce on a Dutch crunch roll with hot turkey gravy, served with deviled egg potato salad.
