Special Tasting Menu at Roxy Celebrates Fall
The Eldorado’s Roxy restaurant is offering guests a special chef’s tasting menu celebrating the flavors of fall. The tasting menu will be available through November and is $45 or $55 with wine pairing. Each item is also available a la carte.
The menu begins with a Frog Hollow Ranch “Warren Gold” pear salad with pomegranates, Point Reyes bleu cheese and watercress paired with Lazy Creek Vineyards 2010 Riesling. The second course gives guests a choice
of either duck confit ravioli with foraged Oregon chanterelle mushrooms, quince jus and jasmine blossom paired with Ferrari-Carano Tre Terre 2010 Chardonnay or a seared venison steak and Merguez-style venison sausage with lobster mushroom confit, potimarron squash and huckleberry jus with Ferrari-Carano Prevail 2007 West Face Cabernet Sauvignon. For the final course, diners will be treated to apple strudel topped with honey Chantilly cream paired with Ferrari-Carano Late Harvest 2007 Eldorado Gold.
