Before the excitement of champagne toasts and fireworks, guests can enjoy exquisite dining this New Year’s Eve at the Eldorado Hotel Casino. Delectable dishes are being created to make memorable meals at Roxy, La Strada, The Prime Rib Grill and The Buffet!
For the finest downtown dining on New Year’s Eve, stop by Roxy for a three course culinary journey. Diners begin with their choice of a salad with duck confit, mixed chicory lettuces, dried fruit compote and champagne
vinaigrette or warm Vichyssoise soup made with potato and leeks and garnished with a potato pancake and American sturgeon caviar. For the main course, guests can either relish pan roasted salmon with celery root puree, black trumpet mushrooms and caviar; filet mignon with herb infused potatoes, asparagus and lobster-cognac sauce; or Colorado lamp chops with wild mushroom ragout and winter truffle hollandaise. The meal ends with chocolate, chocolate, chocolate – three different preparations of chocolatey delights. The three-course meal is just $65 per person from 5 p.m. to close.
Felice Anno Nuovo from La Strada, where chef Ivano Centemeri is pulling out all the stops to ring in the New Year! A special four course dinner is being served from 5 p.m. to close for just $40 per person. Begin with a
butter leaf salad with housemade Bresaola (Italian air-cured beef), arugula, burrata cheese and a parsley dressing. For the “Primi Piatti,” guests will savor a kabocha pumpkin cappelletti with crispy sausage, brown butter sage and amaretti cookies as well as an arugula noodle lasagna with slow-braised Sangiovese wine lamb sauce and goat cheese bechemelle. Next, guests will be treated to a pan seared scallop with toasted corn mashed potatoes, cream of asparagus and Prosecco wine and a roasted beef loin wrapped in Treviso radicchio with grilled red bell pepper relish. Don’t forget dolce—strawberry sorbet with Barbera wine reduction and Gianduju hazelnut chocolate tiramisu.
Spend New Year’s Eve at The Prime Rib Grill where an elegant and hearty three course meal begins with a trip to the famous soup and salad bar featuring shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque and house smoked salmon in
addition to the plentiful regular offerings. The main course is a 20 ounce Porterhouse steak served Oscar style with buttered crab, asparagus, béarnaise sauce and Lyonnaise potatoes. The meal is topped off with chocolate pyramids with nutella mousse filling and hazelnut sabayon all for just $31.95 from 5 p.m. to close.
For a casual celebration, The Buffet will host New Year’s Eve dinners starting at 4 p.m. from just $23.99 for adults, $11.99 for kids and $18.99 for Eldorado Gold Club members and above. Guests can make their
way through the salad bar featuring chilled crab legs, calamari salad and peel and eat shrimp. Hot stations include items like lobster Bolognese over fettuccine, broiled New York steak with mushroom sauce, steamed clams with lemon butter sauce, leg of lamb, roasted prime rib and the Eldorado’s signature mushroom ravioli with porcini cream sauce. No trip to The Buffet would be complete without a visit to the dessert station loaded with decadent cakes, pies, cookies, gelato and more.
