RENO, Nev. (Dec. 18, 2018) — It’s been another monumental year for THE ROW and we’re celebrating 2019 in big ways. With over a dozen rollicking parties and spectacular fireworks show high above the Heart of Reno, every bar at the Eldorado, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy will have the fun flowing and your feet dancing well past 2018’s end. Try one or try them all with an All Access pass – whatever you choose, we hope you’ll join us as we say goodbye to one year and wave hello to the next.

This New Year’s Eve, it’s a Black & White Affair across THE ROW where black and white cocktail attire is recommended. The All Access Pass includes entry to Reno’s most rockin’ parties at The Brew Brothers and NoVi at the Eldorado, El Jefe’s Cantina at Circus Circus and Rum Bullions and Aura at Silver Legacy for $60 in advance. Upgrade to a Premium VIP Pass for $100 in advance and get VIP entry at all paid parties plus hosted premium bar from 9 p.m. to midnight at all Eldorado, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy bars, plus a $10 food credit to Millies24 at the Eldorado or Café Central at Silver Legacy. Enjoy bottomless Grey Goose, Ketel One, Three Olives, Patron, Jager, Jack Daniels or Crown Royal then conclude the evening with late-night favorites like nachos, burgers and tacos.

For those who do not wish to purchase an All Access or Premium VIP Pass, each of the paid entry venues will have a $20 advance cover charge as well as their own open premium bar from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. for $50. At Aura, enjoy the beats of DJ Scenick on the turntables or Audioboxx with DJ Bird at The Brew Brothers. DJ Chris English will spice up El Jefe’s Cantina, Roni V with BLV Productions will spin your favorite mixes at NoVi and The Wiz Kid will perform your favorite cover songs live at Rum Bullions.

There are plenty of places to celebrate for no cover charge and with just as much fun. Roxy’s Bar and Lounge mixes it up with Gil, Bobby and Paul at the piano bar starting at 4:30 p.m. with DJ Sam Forbes stepping in at 11 p.m. to turn it up into the “oui” hours of the morning. No cover, and there will be party favors, a countdown and midnight toast.

Those looking for a more laid-back place to ring in 2019 can head to Cin Cin Bar and Lounge at the Eldorado or visit the Silver Baron Lounge in the Silver Legacy. Guests are also invited to check out Eldorado’s Bar Centro and Silver Legacy’s Drinx or the Village Bar and Blast Bar at Circus Circus for a relaxing night to close out the year. 

Guests who want to start celebrating early are invited to dine at one of many award-winning, fine dining establishments between the Eldorado and Silver Legacy, including Roxy, La Strada, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House, where special New Year’s Eve menus will be presented.

At La Strada, a four course meal with option wine pairing will be served beginning with antipasto, a beet roots cured yellowtail with crudo, fennel, pomegranate seeds and watercress. The recommended wine pairing is Riondo Proseco, Vento, Italy. For primi piatti, or first course, lobster and king crab tortelli with mascarpone sauce and candied lemon and risotto stracchino cheese with black truffle and a glass of Ferrari-Carano Tré Terre Chardonnay, Russian River. For secondi piatti, or second course, fillet of Dover sole “Dorata” with lemon-capers relish, a glass of Albert Bichot White Burgundy, France and charred slow-cooked short ribs with smashed chestnuts, potatoes and au jus along with a glass of Ferrari-Carano Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley. For dolce, or dessert, “Cassata” spumoni cheesecake with raspberry sauce, toasted almonds and Ferrari-Carano Eldorado Gold, Sonoma. Crafted by La Strada chef Massimo Riggio, this special dinner will be served for $48 per person and an additional $25 for the wine pairings.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Roxy with a decadent four course meal beginning with amuse-bouche, potatoes and horseradish foam, caviar and candied lemon zest with Nicolas Feuillatte Brut, France. The starter is a plate of Jamon serrano wrapped prawns with smoked paprika beurre blanc, honey dew and cantaloupe paired with J Vineyard, Vin Gris, Russian River 2016. The main course is Roxy Surf and Turf, pan roasted beef tenderloin, smoked Maine scallops, white asparagus béarnaise and duck fat roasted Yukon gold potatoes paired with Château Laffitte Laujac, Bordeaux, France 2011. For dessert, 72% chocolate mousse with Amarena cherries and marshmallow brûlée with a glass of Ferrari-Carano Eldorado Noir Russian River 2013. Enjoy this exquisite meal at Roxy for $58 per person and an additional $30 for the wine pairings.
