RENO, Nev. (Dec. 13, 2018) — While ‘tis always the season for gourmet dining and epic entertainment at THE ROW – this Christmas, the Eldorado, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy invite you to experience a holiday like no other. With extravagant holiday meals and an “Unbelievable” Christmas show, The City within a City is where you’ll want to plan to be on December 25.

For a casual celebration, The Buffet at the Eldorado prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat Christmas feast where traditionalists and gourmands will find what they’re craving. The carving station will feature Eldorado’s signature twist on classics such as orange and thyme infused turkey breast, garlic and rosemary crusted leg of lamb, roasted prime rib of beef, smoked kielbasa and hot link sausages and brown sugar brandy glazed ham. Guests will also find favorites like peel and eat shrimp and chilled snow crab legs plus tasty entrées like the Eldorado’s famous mushroom ravioli with porcini cream sauce, holiday tamales with raisins and pineapple, Cajun salmon, roasted pork loin with balsamic tomato relish, seafood baked ziti, lemon butter steamed clams and Italian meatball sliders with Pomodoro and mozzarella. Dessert rounds out the meal with warm bread pudding and fruit cobblers, fresh baked cookies, assorted bite-sized desserts, pastries, cakes, pies and a selection of housemade gelato. Available Christmas Day from 11 a.m. for $38.99 for adults and $17.99 for children ages four to ten. ONE Club Chairman and President members are $33.99, Gold $34.99 and Silver $35.99.

Head to the Silver Baron Ballroom behind the mining rig at the Silver Legacy for a holiday dinner buffet that will feature an extravagant display of peel and eat shrimp, chilled crab legs, garlic and rosemary crusted leg of lamb and roasted prime rib of beef carved to order, seafood baked ziti, bourbon glazed butternut squash, tamales, pork marsala stew, Pacific sole with sweet pepper coulis and the Eldorado’s famous mushroom ravioli with porcini cream sauce plus warm bread pudding, fruit cobblers, an assortment of pastries and more for dessert. Available Christmas Day from 11 a.m. for $38.99 for adults and $17.99 for children ages four to ten. ONE Club Chairman and President members are $33.99, Gold $34.99 and Silver $35.99.


An unforgettable feast awaits at Roxy at the Eldorado with a marvelous three course meal that begins with endive and arugula salad topped with pomegranate, opal apples, candied walnuts, concord grapes caviar and feta cheese dressing. The recommended wine pairing is a Priest Ranch, Grenache Blanc, Napa 2015. For the main course, a choice of roasted Chilean sea bass with red curry broth, roasted fennel and parsnips, lemongrass-cilantro Beurre Blanc and a Cline, Viognier, Sonoma 2016 wine pairing or pan roasted breast of duck with braised navy bean cassoulet and a Davis Bynum, Pinot Noir, Russian River 2015 wine. For dessert, Eldorado’s own eggnog gelato eclairs. This complete meal will be available on Christmas day from 5 p.m. for $75 per person, or $50 without the wine selections. The full Roxy menu will also be available.

Buon Natale from La Strada at the Eldorado – that’s Merry Christmas in Italian! Chef Massimo Riggio treats guests to a merry taste from across the ocean with his own unique menu. The antipasto is a beet salad with roasted beets, smoked goat cheese, arugula and duck prosciutto and glass of Twisted Oak Viognier from Angels Camp, Calif. For Primi Piatti – or first dish, which is traditionally a pasta dish, artichoke ravioli with brie cheese and toasted hazelnuts and risotto with roasted butternut squash and a pan-seared scallop. Selected wine pairing is Ferrari-Carano Reserve Chardonnay. The second Piatti is a roasted sea bass with roasted eggplant emulsion, braised bell peppers and pearl onions and a breast of squab with roasted cauliflower and a pinot noir reduction. Selected wine pairing is a Pio Cesare Barbera d’Alba, Piemonte. For dolce, or dessert, warm panettone bread pudding with Chantilly cream and fresh berries paired with Frescobaldi Vin Santo Tuscany. For $46 per person and an additional $25 for the optional wine pairings, this meal will be served on Christmas Day from 5 p.m.

Millies24 at the Eldorado will have several special selections on their menu, in addition to the daily menu, from 11 a.m. Specials include a pecan glazed honey ham served with scalloped potatoes, butternut squash and green beans for $15.95, Hunter’s style chicken with braised white wine, vegetables and tomatoes served with buttered pasta for $15.95 and surf & turf Oscar style with a 6oz. beef tenderloin and king crab leg, mashed potatoes, asparagus and hollandaise for $29.95. Soup or house salad can be added for $3.95 and pumpkin, apple or cranberry pie can be added for $3.95.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the Silver Legacy will offer many ways to celebrate with their signature sizzle this holiday season. A three-course meal with endless reasons to gather with family and friends is available starting at $49.95. Starters include choice of roasted butternut squash soup, cranberry arugula salad, steak house salad or Caesar salad. Entrées are tailored to taste and include choice of a 6 oz. filet and shrimp, stuffed chicken breast, barbecued shrimp, blackened coconut snapper, filet or ribeye. Side choices are sweet potato fritters, roasted root vegetable, garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. For dessert, a decadent salted caramel cheesecake.

Café Central and Pearl Oyster Bar at the Silver Legacy will serve an affordable yet gourmet cuisine for $21.95 plus tax from 11 a.m. at the Café and 3 p.m. at Pearl on Christmas Day. The first course is a choice of pumpkin and butternut squash bisque or seasonal field green salad with dried cranberries, strawberries, feta cheese, pomegranate vinaigrette and candied walnuts. The entrée is roasted tom turkey with creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing, candied sweet potatoes, turkey giblet gravy and seasonal vegetables. For dessert, eggnog cheesecake.

After dinner, take the family to see “The Unbelievable Christmas Spectacular” in the Eldorado Showroom with two special Christmas Day showings at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. This all-new holiday production features “America’s Got Talent” finalist and 14-year-old singing sensation Evie Clair along with magical doves, duo trapeze straps, beautiful sand art and the Russian bar. In the spirit of the holiday, with every VIP Champagne seating purchase, guests can now also select their choice of hot cocoa, with or without Peppermint Schnapps or mulled wine instead of Champagne.
