World Series of Boxing Returns to the Eldorado March 1
USA Knockouts Take on the Dolce & Gabbana Italia Thunder
Presented by Joey Gilbert Promotions, the World Series of Boxing (WSB) returns March 1 when the USA Knockouts take on the Dolce & Gabbana Italia Thunder Boxing Team inside the Eldorado Convention Center. In addition to getting the chance to see two teams in the first truly global professional boxing league go toe-to-toe, guests will have the chance to win Dolce & Gabbana raffle prizes like sunglasses, t-shirts and ties from the Italian luxury fashion house.
WSB brings together the best boxers in international Franchise teams to compete in five weight categories: bantam, light, middle, light heavy and heavy. Developed by AIBA, the International Boxing Association, WSB is a unique concept in the world of boxing as the only pro-style team competition where boxers retain their Olympic eligibility. It brings together the best Olympic boxers representing their country in an explosive format with worldwide appeal. Endorsed by nearly 200 National Federations, WSB represents the future of boxing, promotes a transparent scoring system and brings with it a much needed world-leading governance and commercial guidance to international boxing.
The USA Knockouts are the new American Franchise lead by four-time Olympic Coach Basheer Abdullah. The team boasts an international mix of top talents and experienced campaigners with a roster comprised of both professionals and boxers from the amateur ranks.
Fully endorsed by the Italian Boxing Federation and being sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana, the Italian team has been synonymous with glamour and has attracted a huge fan base, not only in Italy, but all around the world. They are only a few points behind the leader in the current rankings.
Don’t miss the chance to cheer on the USA Knockouts and win some Dolce & Gabbana raffle prizes! Doors open at 6 p.m. and the action starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $25 and are available through the Eldorado Box Office online at www.eldoradoreno.com or by calling 775-786-5700.
