Winners Announced for the Eldorado’s “Secret Ingredient” Contest
From March 30 through May 29, fans of the Eldorado’s Facebook page entered treasured family recipes into the Eldorado’s recipe book - 300 recipes in all. Then from May 30 through June 15, those that submitted recipes were encouraged to share their recipe with friends and family in an effort to get as many votes as possible for a chance at one of three grand prizes.
The votes have been tallied and the winners are Richard Ogus of Citrus Heights, Calif., with his Fried Rice recipe; Cookie Bakke of Las Vegas with her 60/40 Meatballs; and Garrett Nishimori of San Mateo, Calif., whose Jade Asian Greens “Albondigas” Soup intrigued voters.
The lucky winners were each awarded a prize fit for a true foodie: a two-night stay in one of the Eldorado’s suites, limo transfer from and to the airport, a one-hour private cooking lesson from one of the Eldorado’s talented chefs, a Ferrari-Carano wine basket, $100 restaurant credit and $100 in casino FreePlay.
At the Eldorado Hotel Casino it’s all about what’s inside – from the impeccable customer service to special touches throughout, it’s that secret ingredient that makes the guest experience go from ordinary to extraordinary. It’s with that in mind that the Eldorado launched its “Secret Ingredient” contest. See what’s inside the Eldorado’s recipe book at www.facebook.com/eldoradoreno.
