The Eldorado Presents Special Menus for Thanksgiving

The Eldorado Hotel Casino invites guests to spend this Thanksgiving holiday relaxed with family…no shopping, no cooking and especially no cleaning! Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two or a joyous family affair, from traditional dishes to dinners that put a new spin on old favorites, the Eldorado has it with four distinctive menus presented by four of the Eldorado’s award-winning restaurants.

For a casual celebration, The Buffet prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat feast where traditionalists and gourmands will find what they’re craving. The carving station will feature classics like roast turkey, prime rib and roasted rosemary leg of lamb plus trimmings including buttermilk whipped potatoes, turkey gravy, apple sage dressing and oven baked candied yams with marshmallows and pecans. Guests will find favorites like peel and eat shrimp and chilled crab legs plus tasty entrees like turkey pot pies, broiled sirloin steaks with brandy peppercorn sauce, grilled blackened salmon with citrus fruit salsa, orange-rosemary glazed rotisserie game hens, butternut squash ravioli with sage butter and the famed mushroom raviolis with porcini cream sauce. Dessert rounds out the meal with assorted pastries, cakes and pies including pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, apple-pear-cranberry crisp, chocolate cream pie and bread pudding with rum sauce. Available Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 a.m. for $24.99 for adults, $19.99 for Club Eldorado Gold members and above and $11.99 for children age 2-11 at The Buffet.

An unforgettable experience awaits at Roxy, where in addition to the regular menu, chef Jakon Tolhurst will present a special three-course Thanksgiving dinner beginning with a choice of either a Roxy Holiday Caesar salad with cranberries, mesquite smoked chicken bacon and a zesty Caesar dressing or spiced pumpkin bisque with potato gnocchi, sage brown butter and pomegranate. The second course includes a choice of slow roasted honey ham or oven roasted Diestel turkey accompanied by brioche stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry-citrus compote, green beans in roasted hazelnut brown butter and sweet potato tart with marshmallow brown sugar gratinee. Either pumpkin pie alá mode with spiced crème Chantilly or classic New York cheesecake with cranberry sauce tops off the meal, all for $35 per person. Dinner is available from 4 to 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

The Prime Rib Grill chefs have created a delicious Thanksgiving menu for just $22.95 per person beginning at 4 p.m. The menu starts with butternut squash and pear soup and a trip to the famous salad bar followed by fresh roasted turkey carved to order with apple dressing, creamy mashed potatoes, roasted yams, sautéed Brussels sprouts with mushrooms and fresh cranberry sauce and for dessert, a chocolate chip pecan pie with bourbon cream.

At Tivoli Gardens, guests will be treated to their choice of a special Thanksgiving salad or butternut squash soup with pomegranate syrup followed by herb roasted turkey served with giblet Port gravy, creamy buttermilk potato or glazed yams, Italian green beans and cranberry apple chutney followed by apple, pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert. Available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for just $16.95 per person.
