The Eldorado Hires Javier Silverio as Room Chef of The Prime Rib Grill
RENO, Nev. (February 28, 2014) – The Eldorado Resort Casino recently hired Javier Silverio as the room chef of The Prime Rib Grill. Though he had been away for five years, Silverio previously worked at the Eldorado for more than two decades.
Born in Mexico, Silverio came to this country looking for opportunity and found it at the Eldorado in 1986. “The Carano family opened their doors to me and helped me become the chef I am today,” Silverio said. “I’m very grateful to them.”
During his 21 years at the Eldorado, Silvero held several positions including a 9-year stint as the room chef of Roxy. In his time away from the Eldorado, Silverio traveled to different parts of the country trying different foods and seeing what was happening in other fine dining establishments. The Eldorado is pleased to welcome Silverio back as the room chef of The Prime Rib Grill.
