Special Tasting Menu at Roxy Celebrates Summer
The Eldorado’s Roxy restaurant is offering guests a special “Farm to Table” tasting menu celebrating the summer’s freshest, most flavorful produce. The tasting menu will be available through mid September and is $45 or $55 with wine pairing. Each item is also available a la carte.
The menu begins with an heirloom tomato gazpacho with lemon cucumber, market beets and basil sorbet paired with Ferrari-Carano 2010 Siena. The second course gives guests a choice of either a crispy duck confit with summer squash, pickled pole beans and foie gras stuffed squash blossom paired with Ferrari-Carano 2009 Merlot or a Moroccan spiced lamb loin with white eggplant, preserved lemon, mint and tahihi with Ferrari-Carano Prevail 2007 West Face. For the final course, diners will be treated to Gewurztraminer poached cherries in a crisp filo shell with dark chocolate custard and sugared almonds paired with Lazy Creek Vineyards 2009 Gewurztraminer.
An unforgettable dining experience awaits at Roxy, the Eldorado’s award winning bistro. Roxy is an extraordinary 175-seat restaurant and bar developed in collaboration with San Francisco restaurant designer Pat Kuleto, of Kuleto’s, Postrio’s and Boulevard fame. Neighboring the Eldorado’s magnificent Fountain of Fortune, Roxy showcases seven different exterior and interior architectures, creating an enchanting European village atmosphere.
