Special “Ice Fantasy” Benefit Show Raises Nearly $29,000 for The Salvation Army
RENO, Nev. (December 3, 2013) – During the most magical time of the year, guests can experience the magic of “Ice Fantasy – Where Cirque Meets Ice,” on stage at the Eldorado Hotel Casino. And in the spirit of giving, the Eldorado donated 500 tickets for the December 1 matinee show to The Salvation Army in Reno, which raised $28,952 for the local non-profit.
“We greatly appreciate the generosity of the Eldorado for providing the matinee show as a fund raiser for programs provided by The Salvation Army,” said Major Michael Zielinski, Washoe County Coordinator for The Salvation Army in Reno. “Without the support and generosity of businesses like the Eldorado, our mission could not be accomplished.”
This is the third year that the Eldorado has donated a holiday matinee to The Salvation Army, which uses donations to fund programs and services for children, seniors, struggling families, those in need of alcohol and drug rehabilitation, the homeless, the hungry and disaster victims. Since 1865, The Salvation Army has been helping people the world over without discrimination. The organization has been meeting primary needs in Northern Nevada for over 100 years.
Experience the magic of “Ice Fantasy” in the Eldorado Showroom through January 26, 2014. Tickets for “Ice Fantasy” start at just $24.95 for adults, $19.95 for children ages 3-12.
