Roxy Presents Special Pairing Dinner November 18

Gregg Carano is presenting a special pairing dinner at the Eldorado’s Roxy restaurant on Sunday, November 18 with two seatings at 5 and 7:30 p.m. The five course menu is just $55 per person.

The menu begins with a succulent amuse bouche – oyster Rockefeller with a glass of Simonnet Vouvray Cremant – followed by poached prawn cocktail with house cocktail sauce with crisp celery paired with Steele 2010 Roussame. The second course pairs Trimbach 2007 Gewurztraminer with pumpkin bisque en Croute enhanced with crispy pancetta and brown butter sage mascarpone. Guests will then be treated to a rotisserie chicken cannelloni with charred tomato and fresh basil matched with the Ferrari-Carano 2010 Siena followed by prime New York peppercorn steak and sweet potato sticks matched with the Ferrari-Carano 2008 Reserve Cabernet. Dessert is a rich chocolate cake with caramel cream and dried cherry compote paired with the Justin 2008 Obtuse Port-Cabernet.
