New Special Tasting Menu Available at Roxy
The Eldorado’s Roxy restaurant offers guests a special chef’s tasting menu that changes every few months and focuses on fresh seasonal ingredients. The new tasting menu will be available through January, subject to change, and is $45 or $55 with wine pairing. Each item is also available a la carte.
The menu begins with Nikita Asian pear, Thai marinated blue crab and lemongrass vinaigrette paired with Lazy Creek Vineyards 2010 Riesling. The second course gives guests a choice of either seared Magret duck breast with foie gras “pastrami,” poached pear and hibiscus jus paired with Ferrari-Carano 2010 Merlot or a venison Osso Buco with pappardelle pasta, mint and Montenegro cheese with Ferrari-Carano Prevail 2006 West Face Cabernet Sauvignon. For the final course, diners will be treated to apple strudel topped with honey Chantilly cream paired with Ferrari-Carano Late Harvest 2007 Eldorado Gold.
