Masters of Blackjack Winners Tie - Each Take Home $25,000

When Lee C of Longview, Wash. and Brandon D of Reno tied in the Masters of Blackjack Tournament March 1-2, they decided to split the first and second place prizes and each take home $25,000.

Each participant played three rounds with prizes distributed at each table, for each round. There were 25 winners each round and 30 hands per round with a total of $36,000 in preliminary round awards. The top five point earners and one wildcard advanced to the finals table with $64,000 in final round awards including $40,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place, $5,000 for third place, $3,500 for fourth place, $3,000 for fifth place and $2,500 for sixth place.
