Make Christmas Dinner Special – by Dining at the Eldorado
The Eldorado family invites guests and their families to celebrate Christmas with a spectacular meal in a warm holiday setting. The Eldorado’s four specialty holiday menus from The Buffet, Roxy, La Strada and The Prime Rib Grill offer exceptional and effortless options for Christmas Day dining.
Guests can ditch the dishes and dine out beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Christmas Day at The Buffet. Plentiful helpings of slow roasted prime rib, roasted turkey and rosemary leg of lamb will be at the carving station while
holiday tamales with raisin and pineapple, orange rosemary glazed rotisserie chicken, warm crab cakes with saffron sauce, broiled sirloin steak and the Eldorado’s famous mushroom ravioli can be found along the entrée line. Seafood lovers can get their fill with classic Boston style clam chowder, ceviche, steamed mussels, chilled snow crab legs, peel and eat shrimp and more. Seemingly endless selections are also available at the salad bar, antipasti station, soup section and dessert counter. Adults enjoy a Christmas feast for $24.99, children 12 and under for $13.99 and Club Eldorado Gold Card holders and above for $19.99.
Fine bistro dining with a bit of Christmas cheer can be found at Roxy, where diners can enjoy a special three-course meal for only $45 from 4 p.m. until close. The first course offers a choice of spiced parsnip bisque with crème fraiche and crisp parsnips or a holiday salad with butterleaf and mesclun greens, ham, caramelized butternut squash, cranberries and pecans. Two delicious main course options are set to satisfy—pan roasted Christmas goose breast with heirloom potatoes, cranberry jus and blue lake beans or a classic pan roasted filet mignon topped with scampi and served with whipped potatoes and blue lake beans. Capping the meal is either decadent New York cheesecake with cranberry sauce or Boston cream pie.
The Eldorado’s signature restaurant, La Strada, will offer guests a special Christmas menu with an Italian twist. The “Antipasto” course features duck prosciutto salad made with baby spinach, roasted Chioggia beets and
candied macadamia nuts dressed with a cranberry vinaigrette. “Primi Piatti,” or first course, is veal cannelloni with thyme bechamelle and Parmigiano Reggiano and a Fontina Valdostana fondue tortelloni with Treviso radicchio, chestnuts and brown butter. “Secondi Piatti” includes a pan roasted corvina with cream of baby lima beans and a parsley emulsion as well as an espresso crusted pork tenderloin with roasted turnips. Dessert, or “Dolce,” is warm pistachio crepe with a ricotta, candied orange and chocolate chip filling topped with vanilla bean crème anglaise all for just $40 per person, available from 4 p.m.
The Prime Rib Grill offers hearty classics from 4 p.m. until close with a special three-course Christmas dinner for $28.99. Guests start with a trip to the famous soup and salad bar followed by braised lamb shank with a port wine braise, roasted winter vegetables and rustic sour cream and scallion potatoes then finish the meal with gingerbread cake with sautéed apples, whipped cream and caramel sauce for dessert.
