Reno Bighorns
On February 29, 2008, the downtown Reno Events Center became home to the Reno Bighorns, an NBA Development League team associated with the Sacramento Kings and the New York Knicks. The team began play in November 2008, with 24 home games through April 2009 and featured 31 NBA players, including former University of Nevada, Reno stars Nick Fazekas and Ramon Sessions.
