Ivano Centemeri
Ivano studied for three years at the Ipas Vespucci, a professional culinary academy
and spent six years working at “Prater” restaurant in Monza, Italy before moving
to the United States to work at the Eldorado, in 1995. In 1999, he became co-owner
of La Veccehia, but he was lured back to La Strada in November of 2006. Ivano is
well-known for his vibrant Mediterranean flare. Cooking in Mediterranean style means
cooking in harmony with the four seasons and using fresh seasonal ingredients. Many
of the fresh vegetables used in La Strada come from the Ferrari-Carano vineyard.
